Say It With Stamps

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but words can enhance a picture. The artwork submitted for this theme proved that saying to be true. Pictures and words meshed together perfectly, the result being memorable pieces of stamp art.

The artwork shown on the Home Page and at the top of this page is by Judy Larson. “I like the joy and innocence of children, traits we shouldn’t lose as we get older,” she says. “This is a reminder for anyone getting bogged down in daily life to ‘Always Stay Curious’.”

Ruby Claggett contributed “Sunshine and Happiness” for the Say It With Stamps theme.

“I’ve used the sentiment and the sun images many times on other cards,” she says. She also mentioned she often adds several  frames to cards. “I find myself stamping sparingly, then framing things with beautiful papers.”
