Molly Thompson’s sister, Lowry Thompson, was the original owner and editor of RubberStampMadness. When Lowry started the magazine in 1980, Molly was called on to help.
“I mailed magazines, processed subscriptions, set type, whatever needed to be done,” Molly recalls. “On the masthead, I was called ‘Assister to the Publisher’ because, well, I was her sister.”
Molly is an expert fabric stamper and carver. She started her business, Prettyflours.com, by stamping her own designs on tea towels and cloth napkins. The business has grown and now includes a variety of products sold to 80 different businesses, including museum and gallery shops.
