Dressed to Stamp / Va Voom!

Stamping is all about self-expression. Artwork on the Dressed to Stamp theme includes dazzling fashion-forward cards.

For Va Voom! Linda Accuosti “imagined this lady and her pup are touring somewhere in Europe, so I colored her outfit in an Audrey Hepburn style.” Linda stamped the main image in dye-based black ink. The buildings in the background were stamped in grey to give the illusion they are older and further away.

Cindy Hatfield’s card was crafted as part of a series based on the question “What would the well-dressed wolf wear?”

“My inspiration came mainly from the purse stamp,” Cindy explains. “The original purse was larger and had a long chain handle—I cut it smaller to focus on the rose and chose to shorten the handle.” She added the hat and shoes, then a pearl necklace, as well as one made with a metal chain. Now we know what a well-dressed wolf will wear.
