We would love to include your stamp art in RubberStampMadness. Below are specific themes, dimensions and due dates. We also welcome artwork not on a specific theme. These pieces may be used for columns, as well as artist profile stories.

The themes for our next issue, July/August 2008, are Numbers and My Fantasy Vacation. Many thanks and a shake of the hula skirt to Janet Coleman of Richmond, Virginia, who neatly combines both themes in this dreamy scene.

Themes & Deadlines
It's time to think spooky, enchanted and partytime thoughts. The themes for RSM's Sept./Oct. 2008 issue are Halloween, Fairies & Elves and Party Time. The first theme is easy to figure. For the second theme, any card featuring those little denizens of the forest, garden (or whatever) will be acceptable. For the third theme, all party art will be considered: the belle of the ball, the wedding reception, a stamping party or birthday party. The thing to remember is: Be sure and party hardy! Deadline for all three themes: April 20, 2008.
Christmas is coming along right after that issue, and we are thinking about peace and love. We hope you are, too. The first theme for the Nov./Dec. 2008 will be Peace on Earth. This will be our holiday issue, so feel free to include Jesus, Santa, Frosty or any appropriate personage in your peace cards. The second theme is Magnets, so try to be as magnetic as you can. Whatever you send should be able to stick to our refrigerator or file cabinet. That's the only requirement; any subject matter is permissible. Deadline for both themes: June 20, 2008.
After Christmas comes Valentine's Day, and it will be time to say "Be Mine." The first theme for Jan./Feb. 2009 is Love Letters. Send us your stamped expressions of affection. Think pink, red, and lacy white. The second theme is Kings and Queens. Elizabeth, Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn and Marie Antoinette are all fair game. Think royally. Have fun.  Deadline for both themes: August 20, 2008

General Guidelines
All submissions should have some rubber stamp imagery. With each submission, please list stamp credits. Instructions are not needed with the submission.
Always include your name, postal address and telephone number or e-mail address on the back of each submission. Submissions can be original artwork, slides, photographs, color photocopies or color prints.
We welcome artwork on issue themes. There are generally two themes per issue. (See below for specific information on theme submissions.)
We also welcome artwork not on a specific theme. These pieces can appear in the various columns within each issue. Also, when theme artwork isn't returned right away, that means we're considering it for a future issue, either a second centerfold or for one of the columns.

Theme Art
We prefer submissions no larger than 5 inches by 6-1/2 inches in size. All submissions are subject to reduction. Theme artwork can include highly dimensional art or 3-D pieces.
Submit up to four entries per theme. Artwork is returned when accompanied by an SASE. If submitting for more than one theme, please include an SASE for each theme-this helps us keep track of everything. Always include your name and postal address and telephone number or e-mail address on the back of all your artwork.

Cover Art - Cover artists receive $200. Cover submissions can be:
       1) 8-5/8 inches wide by 11-1/4 inches high. This size assumes the artwork fills the whole cover. About 1/4 inch will be trimmed off each edge. Please leave a blank space somewhere for information about what's inside the issue. Also, try not to put any of your favorite images in one of the bottom corners of the cover, where a store pricing symbol will be placed.
       2) 8-5/8 inches wide by 10-1/2 inches high. This size fills the cover except for a 3/4 inch strip across the top for information about what's inside the issue. About 1/4 inch will be trimmed from each edge. Again, try not to put any cool images in one of the bottom corners, where the store pricing symbol will be placed. (Remember that about 1.5 inches of the page will be overlaid with our logo.)
